compression, this picture
will
take 7 seconds to download at a normal
connection speed. 'Thumbnails' will save
download time but still allow a visitor to view
the larger picture if he wants.

Animated gifs
are slow to download and should be used with caution.

'Under
Construction' signs are immensely aggravating. Your site can be
added to at a later date - but don't turnoff visitors with promises.
|
|
|
Visitors come to your site to find out about YOUR business -
don't
distract them from what's important.
