New web design service for
equestrian industry
9 April 2001
Janet George, former countryside
campaigner and most recently Acting Chief Executive of the British Horse
Society, is now an independent web design and PR consultant.
Mrs. George was responsible for the
enormously successful media campaign that ensured the success of the 1997
Countryside Rally and the 1998 Countryside March. For the past two years
she was Head of Public Affairs at the British Horse Society, and took over as
BHS Acting Chief Executive in June 2000.
While at the BHS, she designed the
BHS website - one of the biggest and busiest equestrian web sites in the world
and designed an on-line bookshop for the BHS, which now has an annual turnover
of £250,000.
Mrs. George said: "I've worked
for big organisations, and enjoyed the experience most of the time! Now I want to offer my experience to small businesses, particularly
those not big enough to employ their own in-house PR or internet
specialists."
Equinenet will design, host and promote
internet and e-commerce sites as well as offering PR and media
consultancy.
